bridal prepBride Dakota's day started with her crew at Shama's Salon and Spa. The ladies arrived to The Stables looking glamorous in matching personalized robes with their hair and make up completed. Dakota wore a stunning bright white strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, lace on the bodice, a stunning beaded and jeweled belt, and layers of tulle with sequence accents to match her sparkling Kate Spade Keds. Dakota's overall look was simple elegance with her long beautiful hair softly curled with a romantic baby's breath and rose crown. first lookceremonybridal partymr + mrsreceptionThe reception immediately followed the ceremony in the spacious barn next to the pasture. It was beautifully decorated in a light and airy rustic elegance. Beautiful white and pink arrangements from the talented Beautiful blooms by Jen adorned all the tables in mason jars perched on slices of wood. The couple had a cute pink Instax camera for the guests to snap quick pics to attach to the guestbook <<< LOVED this idea! Dakota + Marcus sat at the front at a beautiful sweetheart table surrounded by friends and family. The meal of corn, asparagus, roasted potatoes, chicken and ribs served by Tree City Catering was absolutely scrumptious. Guests were able to choose from tea, punch, or cute glass bottles of soda to wet their whistle. The music provided by Decorate Sound was spot on and got the crowd dancing their booties off all night. As the sun set I slipped the couple out for a few of the sunset pictures you saw above, we returned to dance till the darkness arrived and then Dakota + Marcus exited their evening surrounded by family, friends, cheers and sparklers! One last thing... I wanted to give a shout out to part of this wedding that is 100% behind the scenes. This was my first wedding working with Bee For the Day. Bee For the Day, if you aren't familiar is a wedding planning service. The had 3 ladies (the bees) running around all day making sure everything ran smoothly and let me tell you it did! This was also my first time having a dress fluffing assistant...WHAT?? Michelle was with us during bridal portraits and she helped fluff the dress and lay it which I didn't realize how amazing that was till I had it!! Wow I may need to hire a dress fluffer lol. These ladies were amazing and I hope to get to work many more weddings with them! Vendors:
