I could photograph these two everyday for ever and ever 💕 Veronica and Mark are one of my amazing past bridal clients and nothing makes me happier than documenting the growing families of my all my brides and grooms! Baby Rhylee is here now but I still had to show off this gorgeous couple that makes my job so so easy!

I love maternity sessions but this one is special. This girl right here has been my best friend for 26 years! Isn't she freaking gorgeous!! This is her first baby and to say I am excited is a bit of an understatement ❤️ Right now as I type she is in the hospital working on bringing this sweet girl Earth side. I am so eager to love on her babe just as she has loved on my kids over the years. She has been the best Aunt Cookie  to her "cookie crumbs" and I can't wait to be the best Aunt Bird to sweet Zoe .

If you are wondering the back story to my name, growing up Sarah's dad called me Lyd Bird. Not sure where we came up with the name Aunt Cookie but it has stuck and pretty much anybody that knows her through me calls her that as well lol.

I can't imagine a better day than today to feature this beautiful woman 💕 Leigh & Nick were a Captured by Lydia bridal couple this past September! They are already amazing parents to their sweet Raeleigh but I was ecstatic when I saw on my facebook feed that they were expecting not one, but TWO beautiful babes to their sweet family! I love nothing more than watching my couples grow their families and I feel so honored to be able to document such important milestones in their lives. Leigh is absolutely glowing and such a great mom and I can't wait to watch her spread that love to 2 more sweet humans. Happy Mother's Day Leigh!

This has been such a fun year for the McKinleys! Not only did I just get to do an engagement session for one cousin, I got to do a maternity for my other cousin! <3 <3  What a fun season in life I am so happy for my family and it was an absolute joy to sweat my booty off with these gorgeous people at the gardens :D  I can't wait to meet baby Coe and I don't think Emily could look any more beautiful <3 

It is 70 degrees today....so I feel a little weird sharing this snowy maternity but it is the last winter session I have to share folks! So I promise all blogs from here on out are going to be headed in the right direction weather wise! 

Daphna, Daphna, Daphna....girl you are gorgeous!! This is the 2nd maternity that I have had the honor of capturing for this family and this time we got to include their sweet boy. AHHH I love how these turned out <3 <3

One of my fav families added a little one recently!! I can't wait to meet their little boy <3 I am sure little Brooklyn is the best big sister. And can we just take a moment to obsess over how GORGEOUS Jenilee is????? [Sigh] I wish I had looked an eighth as stunning as her....I did not... and that is all we will say about that lol. One of the fun things about Jenilee is she is always thinking of cool things to try and pushes me to think outside the box. When she approached me about the backlit picture I was 100% onboard and had actually just shot one like that in the rain and was super excited to try it again.

​OH! One last thing I want to talk about is sweet Brooklyn and what a trooper that girl was!!!!!!!!! OH. MY. GOODNESS it was so windy and SOOO cold and she did not complain once. At one point she sat on my chair in the middle of a field huddled under one of my blankets just singing all kinds of songs. Gosh I love her <3 

Gahhhh see these sweet faces? I mean all the heart eyes right? I was lucky enough to get to do a 6 month in home lifestyle session with these two sweet boys a few weeks ago. They were soooo good and made it incredibly hard for their mommy and daddy to choose what pictures they wanted! But before I show you some of the bajillion they picked (just kidding it wasn't that many lol) I want to step back and show you when I first met these two this past summer.

I know I have talked about it before, but one of my favorite parts of this job is getting to watch families change and grow. I have been photographing this family for few years and I am so excited to get to meet the newest member in the next few weeks!! ♥♥♥

I love Britney and Blaine ♥ They are so much fun to work with. Blaine acts like he doesn't like to take pictures....but I think it's secretly his most favorite thing to do in the whole wide world ;)  Regardless of his true feelings, this couple is always fun to be around. Britney decided about a week before their session to add a gown session! I am so glad she did. WOWZA!! Britney & Blaine, I can't wait to meet little Carson soon! You two will make great parents ♥

Months ago Daphna & Nate approached me about helping them break the news that they are expecting their first baby! [see the session at the end of this blog]. It was SUPER cold!! But how cute are they?? I can't wait to see this precious little bundle! ♥♥ I was honored that they came back and asked me to photograph their maternity session. They suggested going to where they got married as the shoot location, and I was stoked, I will never turn down an opportunity to shoot at the beautiful SoSerene in Wapakoneta, Ohio. It was beautiful as ever, the weather and light were perfect and I just want to say Daphna you were glowing! You have the prettiest baby bump! Thank you two for including me in this special time of life! I can't wait to meet the little one ♥

Tasha and Josh are expecting their first child and I am honored that they chose me to capture this special moment for them! I am so excited for you guys as you start this new and amazing journey! ♥
