Gosh!! Isn't she just beautiful??? Julianne, her sweet grandpa and I walked through the downtown alleys capturing her beauty. Grandpa was so nice and helpful and even jumped in a few of the photos. We ended up over by the convention center where her graduation ceremony will take place and took the fun picture in her cheer outfit and gown. Grandma jumped in after that, which I loved. And let me tell you what...I only got to talk with Grandma for about 5 minutes but she is a crack up lol. Julianne you are very lucky to have such amazing grandparents and I am so happy they are a part of your senior photo experience <3

Jade is one of our Class of 17 senior models! This is part 2 of her senior session so if you happened to miss her first session check it out HERE! Jade really wanted a sunflower field for her session but that just doesn't work in May :( so she decide that Amherst Green House would be an awesome substitute! I love how bright and colorful this session is! I also love how she incorporated her Bible and a quilt her grandma made into the end of the session. It was wicked windy and cold but Jade's bright personality warms up all the images <3
People!!! Is he not the cutest thing??!! Ben was so fun to photograph. I just loved his style and confidence. And can we talk about his hair swoop for a second? The first time I saw him do this I was like "Oh man, that is going to be used often!" I would say "Ok now do the hair thingy" lol. His posing was so natural and he had the model walk down pat. I don't get to photograph many senior boys...I'm not sure why, but I photography MANY girls, so having this session with Ben was a wonderful break from the norm. Ben I know you only have a few weeks left of school! Congratulations and thank you for allowing me to be your photographer!
Cameron is so sweet and such a beauty! She will be graduating this year from LCC where she played soccer and runs track. She has the cutest dimples (I know she never hears that lol) and was a joy to photograph. She pushed through the 40 degrees and wind with no sleeves like it was nothing!! These senior girls I tell ya...tougher than nails ♥ My dream job is: being able to help people and loving every second of it My biggest accomplishment so far is: being resilient through everything that life has thrown at me Plans after graduation: to attend Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio Something unique and quirky about me: I was once stranded by a mud slide in Wyoming with my family My friends would say the phrase I say the most is: the word "like" One goal I have this year: to have a good transition to college and keep God first even when times are busy Favorite thing to do is: spend time with family and friends, play soccer Something that makes me happy is: food (most importantly buffalo chicken dip) I may or may not be slightly obsessed with: sleep, La Charreada The best part about high school has been: growing in my faith, having fun with friends, and making memories that will last a lifetime. I will never: smoke The perfect day for me would be: spending time with friends and family, playing soccer, and eating my favorite food Best advice I have ever received: "People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God; It was never between you and them anyway." -Mother Theresa
I met with Lydia and her mom a few months ago to shoot her second session. I know, I know...I got lazy with my blogging in my down time. I guess I go into a mini hibernation during these months to recover from the craziness of fall! Anyway, it was 40 degrees out which is a dream for an Ohio winter...but MAN was it windy. You wouldn't know it though from Lydia's pictures! Complete champ...I think I may have whined the most that day because she didn't complain one iota. We decided to shoot downtown Kenton, and then the middle school theater because theater plays such an important role in Lydia's life. I like the moodiness of some of these images, I feel like they show off the different sides Lydia can pull off. Love this girl! So glad she joined my modeling team last year. Lydia, I hope that your dreams come true! Dream big ♥
This girl is AWESOME! Her name is one of the prettiest used in all of humanity ;) and this year she has been a volleyball player, baton twirler, member of the homecoming court, musical lead of her school's Little Shop of Horrors musical, and one of our beautiful senior models [see that shoot here]
Lydia is a natural when it comes to posing and was so easy to work with! The weather was perfect, the colors were perfect, and she just looked amazing! I'm super excited that I get to do another session with her this winter ♥ Makeup by: Hayley Palmer This beauty is so much FUN and has accomplished some things I can only dream of! Makeup by: 12 Month Beauty Jade is one of our gorgeous Senior Models for the class of 2017. She attends Allen East High School and is an active member of their girls' soccer team. Jade was absolutely stunning in our model shoot this past spring [see here] so I was really excited to shoot with her again this fall! And once again she killed it!
For her senior session we traveled to downtown Wapakoneta where we played around with a vintage bike, movie theater, old yellow payphone, and all the neat nooks and crannies downtown Wapak has to offer. Liz Flowers of 12 Month Beauty did an amazing job on the makeup and then joined us for the session, which made me a HAPPY girl! I ♥ when my Liz comes to work with me ♥♥♥ we always have fun! Can we just talk about how much Nikole looks like Shailene Woodley in Insurgent??? Talk about doppelganger! I wonder if people tell her she looks like Shailene as much as people ask the question "from State Farm?" when my husband says his name is Jake :) [Seriously...if you run into a Jake somewhere...don't say it...he has heard it a billion times and probably wants to hurt you, but politely smiles lol] Nikole!!!! You are stunning! Those cheekbones and gorgeous eyes, I could take photos of you all day ♥ She isn't just a pretty face folks, this girl is super smart and the goalie for the Shawnee Indian Soccer team. Nikole I had a great time exploring downtown with you and thanks for being willing to do all the goofy things I asked you to do ♥ Makeup by: 12 Month Beauty My dream job is: an engineer for BMW in Germany My biggest accomplishment so far is: maintaining above a 4.0 gpa in high school while playing soccer Plans after graduation: to attend college and major in electrical engineering Something unique and quirky about me: I appear very stoic but I'm very emotional My friends would say the phrase I say the most is: “alright then” One goal I have this year: to get accepted to my top choice of college Favorite thing to do is: go to concerts, listen to music Something that makes me happy is: hanging out/catching up with friends I may or may not be slightly obsessed with: Two Door Cinema Club (favorite band The best part about high school has been: all of the new friends I’ve made and relationships I’ve formed I will never: stop pushing towards my goals Best advice I have ever received: “Time will pass and things will change, this is only temporary” The perfect day for me would be: A bright, snowy day spent up in Michigan on the slopes, snowboarding and staying warm in the lodge
Olivia was SO much fun! Sometimes it can take a little bit for girls to warm up to being in front of the camera....but not Olivia ♥ Right away she was model walking down the sidewalk in downtown Lima and acting silly. Acting out of the norm can be hard when people driving by can see you, but it didn't phase her a bit and I knew instantly we were going to have a great session. I absolutely loved her outfit, I so wish I could pull off the black hat look. And I'd like to say I am pretty stoked that chokers are making a come back, I was definitely a choker wearer in my middle/high school days :) Olivia you are beautiful inside and out and I am grateful you allowed me to capture that beauty! I am really looking forward to our fall session in October! Makeup by 12 Month Beauty My dream job is: cosmology My biggest accomplishment so far is: becomin VP of my schools student council Plans after graduation: to move away and go to Beauty school

People!!! Look at this beautiful girl ♥ We decided to go to one of my favorite local locations and it did not disappoint. It was hot as heck but the light was gorgeous and so was Ashley and she powered through the heat [in a sweater and jeans!!] like a champ. I didn't hear her complain once! And can I just say...THOSE EYES♥♥♥♥ Thank you Ashley for letting me capture your beauty. I hope you have a stellar senior year!
Makeup by: 12 Month Beauty One goal I have this year: buy a new car Something that makes me happy: eating junk food knowing I don't have to work out the next day or wake up early Best part about high school: my Apollo fitness and exercise class Best advice I have ever received: be yourself and don't settle for less Perfect day for me: going to Cedar Point with my friends and family
I'm so excited for this year's senior model program!! I've joined forces with Liz Flowers owner of 12 Month Beauty, Jamie Burger owner of Simply Torn Boutique, and Angie Wauben owner of Angela's Hair Design to provide our senior models with the complete model experience. We've selected 7 AMAZING girls to participate in our program, and we are excited for the group shoot we have coming up in a few weeks! Since all of our models come from different schools we thought it would be fun to have a casual icebreaker shoot to get to know each other before coming together for the official group shoot. We decided on a paint theme and I think it was a great success! Thanks for braving the cold girls! Hope you had fun ♥ I mean...I gotta get in on this!! ↓ ↓ Huge shout out to my friend and fellow photog Melissa for capturing some of these images ♥
