the love story Like every classic love story I shot my man in the chest with a foam nerf arrow with my light up nerf bow with absolutely no remorse. As if it were an arrow from cupid he was immediately turned head over heels. After 2 years of falling for one another by, watching movies, holding hands, playing video games, going to prom, and of course all out nerf wars, I got tired of waiting and asked him "Will you please just be my boyfriend already?" We've been inseparable ever since. -Annie That night I was shot in the chest with a nerf arrow that came from seemingly no where, I knew I needed to know that GORGEOUS woman who was laughing in the corner from seeing how confused I was. For months I tried to talk to her on Sundays, but she all but ignored me. Finally, after what felt like forever, she sent me a friend request on FaceBook. We talked for hours and well into the night every night, getting to know each other, and every second of it I fell further and further in love with the girl who shot my heart. -Daniel bridal prep What a gorgeous day these two had! It was 74, partly cloudy, with a slight breeze. As I was starting to take photos of the main house on the property a truck with a golf cart rolled up. I didn't think anything of it but as I approached with the wedding coordinator she filled me in that the golf cart was for Jane, the mother of the bride. The night before she had taken a tumble and broke BOTH her feet!!! Obviously this was not in the plan for the day and adjustments had to be made on the fly. I just wanted to talk about what a trooper she was and in the face of adversity she pushed through with a smile. Between crutches, a wheelchair, golf cart, and balancing on a boot for a few dress zipping pictures this tough woman made it through the day without the smallest complaint!! Annie you are lucky to have such an amazing mom, she deserves a standing ovation <3 Bridal preparations took place on the Scarlet Oaks grounds. The groom and groomsmen in groom's suit, a second house on the property, and the bride and bridesmaids in the main house. The ladies buzzed around getting ready on the upper floor, while the gentleman played games and ping pong. Annie slipped into her gorgeous gown in the pretty pink bridal suite. She wore a beautiful sleeveless, A-line, lace gown with a sweetheart neckline and a small row of buttons down the back. A special heart with the couples initials was sewn inside her gown right over her heart. Here hair was pinned expertly to the side and topped with a cathedral length gown with lace details. Annie’s heels were a dusty pink and she wore sweet pearl earrings and a peal teardrop necklace. Annie chose to do first looks with both her bridesmaids and her dad and let me tell you this girl is loved! There were many tears of happiness and hugs from her ladies before it was time to reveal her look to her dad. Her dad was so sweet and showed up with a red rose for her which Annie took and placed in her bouquet front and center for the rest of the day. ceremony bridal party mr + mrs reception Vendors
