bridal prepOn opposite sides of the church, both Monica and Chris prepped for their wedding day. The ladies chatting away while applying makeup, and the guys were hanging out being guys while passing the time on teeny tiny purple chairs in a kid's classroom :) Chris was dressed all in black except his olive green tie and suspenders. His groomsmen were similarly dressed but wore a white tie instead. The littlest guy of the bunch was perfectly dressed for his duties of ring security, complete with a brief case and ID badge! Monica wore a gorgeous satin gown with beautiful embroidery and bead details. Her makeup was classically beautiful and her hair was worn down in loose curls. She wore a simple finger tip veil, diamond stud earrings and gold wedges. The bridesmaids wore different dresses all in the same olive green coloring. Tying everyone together was the beautiful and detailed Mehndi adorning their hands. first look with dadFolks...these get me every time! The icing on the tear jerker cake was when Monica's dad said as he was leaving her embrace, "I was just imagining bringing her home from the hospital"...uhhh..excuse me while I go find some tissues!!!! first touch + prayerMonica and Chis are Christ followers and wanted to start out their God filled union with a first touch and prayer for the day. ceremonyThe ceremony took place at the North Main campus of Gateway Church in Findlay. This beautiful sanctuary was the perfect backdrop. You could see the excitement in both Chris and Monica, in fact Chris was so excited he seriously jumped the "I do" gun and answered waay before he was supposed to. It was a wonderful little laugh for everyone <3 In the middle of the ceremony the couple had a worship song and it was so cool to see the couple worshiping with all their loved ones. The ceremony went off without a hitch and Chris showed everyone how to kiss a bride! bridal partyLet me tell you this was a FUN group of people that all fiercely love this couple <3 AND their Chick-Fil-A photo opp.... Love it!! mr + mrs2019 has been one of the rainiest springs in history, and unfortunately Chris and Monica didn't dodge that bullet completely. We did get a morning full of clouds and a mist here and there, so it wasn't a complete rain out. We were able to squeeze about 15 minutes of portraits out right after the ceremony and another 5 or so after family formals. Then the clouds could not hold it any more and it poured! BUT rain is good luck on your wedding day and I think these two could look like they walked out of a magazine anywhere we put them! receptionAfter the ceremony guests hopped on over to The Centre at Bluffton for a beautiful reception. The bridal party arrived in fashion with a beautifully choreographed dance for the guests, before we ate a delicious meal. When it was time for the toasts each an every bridal party member took time to say something about the couple. It was a beautiful thing to see a couple so loved by their friends <3 Congrats Chris and Monica! I wish you many many years of love and happiness! vendorsCeremony: Gateway Church

Thank you! I got my dress at Seams Fitting as a sample, and they did all alterations too.
