Next up in my late to be blogged, but not forgotten 2020 Seniors 😬 Is this sweet girl! Her laugh was infectious and it was a joy to get to know her. ALSO I was super stoked when she and her mother informed me that the second session would be taking place on their property that happened to be a location I have been wanting to shoot at for years! Caroline you are a special soul and I hope you achieve all you set your heart on ❤️

Ahhhh feels so good to be back! This is our 5th year of this model program! When we met with the models and the parents on March 1st and laid out the timeline for our upcoming shoots no one could have predicted what our would has gone through the last few months. Shoots kept getting pushed back as we waited for each vendor to be released from the health orders and when our final piece of the puzzle (salons) were released I jumped for joy! All the girls have been so patient and flexible ❤️ It felt so good to finally get a small taste of normal by having this shoot with this sweet group of girls! Cierra, Cyrus, Jordyn, Kyleigh, + Olivia KILLED their shoot and as always Simply Torn + Beauty by Jill did a stellar job with styling, hair and makeup! They are both so AMAZING at what they do and I am honored to work with with them and grateful that they donate to this program year after year!

Oh man the first time I met Kaitie I knew she was going to be fun to photograph. I loved her outfit and she was a natural poser. I remember her mentioning she wanted to do a snow session for her second session. Her mom wasn't as keen on that idea but I said I was down for anything so let me know! They decided to go with a fall session instead of snow.... but you wouldn't know it if I hadn't told you!!! They picked the COLDEST day in November with a 17 degree wind chill and snow everywhere! Kaitie ended up getting what she wanted in the end but her sweet little hands and legs paid for it! We seriously almost called it quits halfway through because it was so cold, but Kaitie channeled all her will power and pushed on! These seniors I tell ya... they are amazing! Congrats Kaitie on making it through one of the weirdest years of school! Hope college is all you want it to be ❤️

We are at it again!!! This is our 5th year of the senior model program and I am thrilled with the group of sweet girls we have 💕 Our timeline, just like EVERYONE else's in this world, go a little delayed by the virus but we are happy to be back at now! The weekend before the country basically shut down we had our Parent/Model meeting to determine who our final models were. This shoot takes place to allow the girls to get to know each other and get comfortable in front of my camera before the big styled shoot. Normally we would have had this shoot in April...but ya know. This shoot is always tricky to schedule anyway because we have the weather and 5 different schedules to work with. Thankfully everyone was available on Memorial day! I was watching the weather on my app saw some rain mid day but none during our shoot so I thought we were golden. WELP that rain was a DOWNPOUR and our normal spot for the paint shoot was pretty soggy. Last minute I found a spot downtown and it was perfect.  I loved the change up in scenery and the girls clicked right away. I think I am just going to expect the unexpected for the rest of this year and roll with it 🤷‍♀️😁👍

Oh man do I love photographing seniors in the spring!! Madi opted for part II of her senior session to take place in the spring and I couldn't have been more excited. The light, the flowers, and her beauty...WOWZA! Congrats Madi on your graduation in this crazy time! I hope you achieve all the things you set your mind on 💕

Hey friends! This is Madison and she is one of my 2020 Senior Models. We split her senior photos into two sessions this past year and even though we finished up her last session in the fall she fell through my blogging cracks. You'd think with us all being at home non-stop the last 2 months I'd be a blogging fool...that's a nope 😬 sorry Madison! Well better late than never I say! Give this beauty some extra love because all our seniors need it right now 💕

Chloe is one of our senior models this year! She is also a family friend, and I photographed her sister's senior photos...so I was stoked when I heard she was joining our senior model program. Man, I love photographing Chloe, she falls right into posing, is super easy and obviously gorgeous <3 I can't wait for her second session coming up soon! 

 Will someone pinch me!! I swear I am dreaming because I get the most beautiful clients <3 Audrey and her gorgeous hair, eyes, and smile made my day!

Did you know you can split a 2 hour Senior Session into two seasons?? That is exactly what Kaitlyn one of our 2019 Senior Models did! She was able to get a beautiful snow session (View Here) and a stunning Spring session too! I loved her HAT it just pulled this whole session together...that and her awesome posing skills! <3

Once again thanks to our vendors and GORGEOUS models the shoot turned out pretty awesome if I do say so myself! 

So if you follow my work...you know I tend to shoot a lot of serious face photos. Lindsay could totally rock a serious face, but it just didn't fit her! Some people are just meant to smile all the way through their sessions <3 So that's what we did.  I loved working with Lindsay and her sweet momma was trying to hold back the tears. I already know I am going to be such a mess when my kids get to this stage in life. My favorite thing from this session... hearing her sweet momma say to Lindsay something along the lines of, "Wow. You are just so beautiful, I know you are beautiful, but I don't get to just sit and stare at you all the time like this, you are so so beautiful." <3 That's right momma she is beautiful and you made that!! Enjoy that beauty!   

Ja'Kyra….. girl you are beautiful! You mastered the serious look and the laugh... you're a pro!  Thanks for taking the long (and pokey) route through the field when there was a clear path only 6 feet from us lol. 

Kaitlyn, one of our 2019 Senior Models, wanted snow.... SHE GOT IT!! Are her red lips not PERFECT?? This shoot was not easy because of the cold but Kaitlyn pulls it of like a pro <3 

This girl made it so easy <3 We split her 2 hour session into two days about a month apart. For the second session her boyfriend who was home visiting from boot camp joined us. THEY ARE SO CUTE!!! 

Ummmm Taylor Swift's doppelgänger????? I am sure she is tired of hearing that but it hit me mid-way through her session and I just couldn't keep it in 😬😳

When Caitlin contacted me she said, "I don't know where I want my pictures taken but I know it has to be inside because I have bangs and I don't want them blowing around" I was like...I know JUST THE PLACE!!  (Btw it was a good call on her part it was windy as HECK the day of her shoot lol)

Kylee.... a fellow creative...Oh how I love that you push the limits and allow me to feel extra creative in this tiny little town. Earlier this year Kylee had the awesome idea to do her first session at the fair and it was AMAZING!! We stuck to downtown Lima for the 2nd half and I was not disappointed at all when she showed up in her sweet pink fur coat <3 <3 

Alexis is one of our 2019 senior models! She split her 2 hour senior session in two. First we explored downtown Lima and second popped on over to Bluftton...I always love visiting the home town <3 

This girl can ROCK a serious face....but of course we had to throw in some smiles for the momma :)

Working with Deacon was so fun! I work with a lot of senior girls...and I love each and every one of them ♥ I really do, but it was nice to switch it up with a good looking guy like Deacon. He was willing to do everything I asked and he totally thought I was hilarious (no he didn't but he would humor me and laugh occasionally lol) I had a great time hanging with him and his mama...I don't know about that first shirt he wore though ;) 

Friends the Fall busy season is in full swing! It is crazy, but also awesome to photograph so many amazing people! In the meantime.... this time of year my blog can fall a bit behind. 

Back in AUGUST...(yikes) I got to photograph this beauty at a super neat property in the Shawnee area <3 Shaylen was one of our senior models this year so of course she was a natural. 

Just stop it..... I LOOOOVEEEEE this senior session!! How fun!! Kylee is one of our 2019 Senior Models. I knew from working with her earlier this year that she is a beautifully unique individual so I was not surprised when she asked to do part 1 of her session at the fair. It honestly fit her so well with all the bright color and was so different than what other people were doing. I loved every minute it of it and I know I looked like a crazy person squatting down in the middle of the midway to get a shot and asking to sit on the skiball. But I honestly don't care...I have come so far since I started my business! I used to get nervous taking a client near a busy street where...gasp... people could see us. Now if you are close to me during a shoot, you BETTER be watching, because I will probably back right over you lol. Can I get a back up beeper made for a human???

We chose downtown Wapak and The Temple of Tolerance for part 1 of Cammy's senior session. I seriously had so much fun with her! She was instantly at ease in front of the camera and giving me micro-movements without coaching <3 This girl killed it!
